After some pretty epic growth over the last 12 months, we have decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign, and give our customers and fans a chance to come along on the journey!

The journey so far

We don’t like blowing our own trumpet but credit where credit is due, ey?

Traditional life insurance is complex, expensive, inflexible and boring. So, we set out on a mission to revolutionise insurance in the UK by offering easier, cheaper life insurance, all while trying to change attitudes to death! So far, we’ve built and launched a super easy and cheap pay-as-you-go life insurance product that you can buy on your smartphone in under 3 minutes, insured over £1bn of payouts and had 120K deathwishes created.

The journey doesn’t stop here and – as you are at the heart of what we do – we are excited to give our customers and followers a chance to become investors.

How big is the opportunity

The Life Insurance market in UK is worth £3.7bn. Over 12m people in the UK have life insurance but that leaves 8.5m people without. Part of the reason is the complexity and the cost of a traditional insurance product. Ironic that people don’t have life insurance because of… well, life insurance.

Our Deathwish Platform inspires customers to personalise their life insurance by creating “deathwishes”, which helps them to identify their life insurance needs and gives their life insurance plan some real, tangible meaning. Because none of us are immortal (that includes you, Brad Pitt).
