When you first sign up to a DeadHappy plan, we commit to a 5 or 10-year lifeline (depending on which version of the product you have). This means that no matter what happens to your health during that time, your plan will remain active as long as you keep paying.
Every year we will ask you if you want to renew your lifeline for free, provided your health is about the same, and we encourage everyone to do this. This way, if you do get diagnosed with an illness, you are protected and you will still have the full lifeline to fall back on.
We think the lifeline approach gives a good balance between commitment and risk for most people, but it’s entirely up to you to make this call for yourself. If you want longer term guarantees, unfortunately, we can’t help you at the moment. Watch this space though, as we are always trying to make our products better.
